A couple of things I recently design'd...
Flyer for Black Sun...

New Gothic Maine sticker...

The above is a comic a did for some freaky weirdos who are starting a monthly "alterna-dance" night at Geno's here in Po'tlan'. The night is called DYSTOPIA and it has promised to help you get your "rawk on" and to cure your syphilis.
Or maybe, it will get your "rocks off" and give you syphilis.
I'm not really sure about the details.
After a truly horrific evening (gastro-intestinely speaking) I am feeling much better this morning!
klemrev, I, and quite possibly her parents are heading out to the beach.
I was going to go out tonight to explore various things, but since I didn't feel well enough to get some things done last night, I'm going to have to stay in a get stuff done. Unfortunately, it ain't all stuff I can just blow off. Some of it is actually paid design stuff on a bit of a deadline. O.o
Apparantly, Plague was kickin' last night, and we just got a confirmed night at a new venue for Flatline: HALLOWEEN! :)
I feel bad because there were some gothfolk relatively new to Maine that were going out to Plague last night. I really wanted to meet them (as one is a prospective DJ). But, I figured being a good representative of Maine Goths did not involve vomiting all over their stompy boots. :x
There's other exciting Gothy Goodness coming down the pike, but I'm not sure what is and what is not up for discussion. So until I consult the respective creators/promoters, that is all I will say about that for now. ;)
Remember!!! I spin next week at Plague (09/14), 9-10p!!! And I do believe the "free before 9:30" that was instituted last night will continue into the future. So relatively poor people and be there early (and hear me spin, dammit!!)

![]() I look like a drag queen... :\ |
First off, this is not the best picture of me. I spun last night, so to be there early enough I had to rush home, get ready as fast as I could and then head back out to the city. I sort of just threw my make up on, and if I had time to think about it I would have toned down the "Drag Queen Factor." I also, for the first time attempted to outline my entire eye... I have mixed feelings about the result. I also majorly fucked up on my lip liner, making a curved mark on the left side of my face. Luckily I'm a master at making fuck-ups look intentional. I stepped back from the mirror and thought the mark looked like a fang... so I was like... "Fuck it!" and I just made a matching mark on the right. XD And, yes, I am wearing the meat skewers in my hair again. This time, however, I only used two of them, and they were actually holding my hair up. Plague last night was SOOOO much fun!! I do so enjoy the spinworks of My set went alright. I mostly took the opportunity to play some new music I've happened upon since last time I spun. I've fallen in deep, deep love with Lords of Acid especially the song I Like It. I also threw in a remix of The Knife's We Share Our Mother's Health as I promised I would. Not sure if anyone took notice, but there was an ongoing theme of sex, BDSM and gender-fucking through out my set. >:D OH! And check it out! I got huge props from people about the stickers -- some of the people tossing about compliments didn't even realize I was the one who made the logo. :) I'm totally putting this on my car!! >:D Fun had by all. Good, good night. :) |

OH MY AWESOME!!
You might remember my design for a logo of
madhatterofoz's comic charater Super Mega Ten Cent Robot...
It's now officially a clothing line! :D
(yes, the hat is for real...)

Recently,
milkgonebad got me in touch with an individual who was looking to have a flyer designed for a swinging night over at PLUSH. I managed to find time to get something together, and I am really proud with how it turned out! With the stress of this week getting to me, I nearly turned down the opportunity. But then I realized I could probably function on one less hour of sleep.
I'm glad I did...

For sometime
milkgonebad has mentioned a logo for Gothic Maine involving a creepy lobster with red eyes. Seriously, what better represents goth in Maine then a lobster of the undead persuasion?
This is something I threw together as a possible logo for t-shirts/bumper** stickers. It's not a final design, of course, I need to fix the spaces between the white sections and likely fix the text.
