Life is still a little kooky, but I am feeling a smidge better. No thanks to Oni Bunny! But, honestly, I really should have seen that coming... This is actually the comic for last Friday. I will be returning to Dis today, but it's late so it will have to wait until after work. |
Today is Dis' 5th Birthday.**
And I celebrate it with a Haka Kitty comic (that is late, no less).
Seems like an important milestone...
Wish I had it in me to celebrate...
Life still fucked up right now...
Right now I'm mostly trying to keep myself alive...
(emotionally, and by extension, physically)...
I am going to finish out this story arc, but after that, I dunno...
I might end the webcomic...
I had planned out a full ten years...
but I just don't have the strength right now...

With the hospital switching over to the new information system, instead of a weekend, I got 30-odd hours of mandatory overtime. And this week we "go live" which means more headaches. I'm absolutely exhausted, and it's already 1:35am Monday morning. I could try to throw together a Dis for today... but I fear it would just suck. So instead, how about another shot of DIY HAKA KITTY!! Today's HK was submitted by balaams_miracle! And it demonstrates Oni Bunny's black soul of pure evil. BAD NEWS: Despite the response, this will be the last Haka Kitty I post as the show is over and I can begin doing Disassemblance again. GOOD NEWS: Haka Kitty is very soon going to be a perminant fixture on Disassemblance.com! I find it hard to put away something that has generated such a response. People I didn't even know read Dis, have come up and told me how much they love Haka Kitty. MOB RULES!! Haka Kitty is going to be my new "collective comicing" interactive strip -- something like the TEMPORARILY defunct Emergent Bob. Every week I'll create a new comic with nothing but the art, and YOU the audience will be able to submit your edited versions of the strip your own text! All entries will be posted through the week. It should be GREAT FUN (or a complete disaster)! But more on that later... Today's HK was submitted by lost_narnian! |

Running w/ glue will not be with us this week, as I am way to busy between work, the show, and other personal things -- I simply don't have a moment to spare. I will be lucky if I can get another Haka Kitty done for Wednesday...
In fact, if YOU would like to do your own Haka Kitty comic and send it into me, I will gladly post it and try to find other ways to repay your kindness (if having your creation on the most incredible webcomic site of all time, isn't repayment enough).
